Getting high ranking on the search engines, specially Google, means posting quality unique content and optimizing that page for the keywords you are targeting.

This month, November 2011, I won a bidding for a PR5 domain in GoDaddy. I was ecstatic to win but apparently there was a reason why nobody else bid on that domain. I got it for AU$ 12 by the way.

This was the first time I ever bought an expired domain although I learned about it in one of the courses I bought that also taught different ways of getting backlinks (Matt Carter’s Rapid Profit Formula).

I have no plans of putting up my own high PR blog network (not yet anyways). What I will be doing (and have done) with this PR5 domain is to submit it to Authority Link Network. Submitting a PR5 blog will give me 6 credit points which will allow me to submit 6 articles each day with 3 backlinks each. It’s free to join and there is an option to upgrade. (More of that in future posts).

Anyway, here are some points I discovered and learned during that bidding and buying high PR domain process:

• You pay for the expired domain and the annual registration
• It takes over a week to use the domain
• Website services to search for expiring domains
• CHECK For FAKE PR!

Double Pay

Just so that you are aware, if you won a bidding for any domain, you must be aware that you will be paying for both the “auction fee” which is the amount stated during the auction and the renewal fee.

So, the total amount you pay will not just be the one in the Auction site (I’m taking about Godaddy here, but there are other sites that offer to sell expired High PR domains and Im not sure yet if the process are the same)

Here’s what I am talking about, see image below:

The first one, which is $11.07 is the amount you pay for winning the auction, ie, the expired domain purchase. Then the $19.99 is the Domain name renewal for 1 year (it is an expired domain anyway).

So, overall, in this example you pay $31.06 for the whole process.

Wait One Week… or 12 Days

After you’ve made the payment, you will not be able to setup the domain on your IP address or DNS names or whatever your prepared way of setting up your site is.

In my case, after paying, the site said that I have to way 12 days (?) before the domain is fully transferred. You have to know also that anytime during those days, if the original owner decided to renew his domain, they can. Yeah, that’s the way it go. You will get a refund from GoDaddy though.

In my case, such thing did not happen and I now have that PR5 domain in ALN.

 Check for Fake PR

I discovered this late so I am giving this very important tip for you. Actually I know about this but I just forgot to check.

Here’s a few things to do to check if the PR is genuine.

• use ‘info:’ search option in Google
• use ‘site:’ option in Google

If the domain really has that PR, it will have pages and it will show the real domain extension and not just a redirect. That is what happen in my case. I bought a .net with an apparent PR5, but it really is just a PR passing thing from the .com.

You can also check whois data for the domain if there are ‘drops’ and you might as well check the real age of that domain.

Hope these bits of info helps someone.

Here’s a quick tip for you back link maniacs out there! (You can never have too much backlink now can’t you?) Backlinking is the most important thing in internet marketing and if you want to work from home in the Philippines or whatever country you are in.

Here’s a little foot print you can go search Google and will return thousands of authority sites (on their own rights) for you to comment on.

Take note though that these sites are heavily moderated so use your coconut head and do not spam these sites otherwise, do not expect to get a single back link from them.

After you gotten the list of sites you can now (if you wish) cherry pick those that have high PR using SEOQuake or you can comment on new and latest ones (need to remind myself to make a post about it) if you want your post to get lived ASAP since it will be moderated. You can then back link those to get PR or more strength.

I have to correct myself, they did something about it. It’s just that, it took them days. They apparently have to search the archive of their backup to restore my wordpress database. Compared to the top webhosting company like the ones mentioned above, the support for backup/restoration request took ages. The site is up btw.

I still don’t get it. I don’t understand why people are still purchasing domains from “GoDada” for $12 a piece for a dot com (.com) when there are other domain registrars that offer the same service at way cheaper price.

Take 1and1.com for example. They have this $0.99 for a .com for the first year. Even if you renew after a year for $9, that is still cheaper than that of GoDaddy right? (even if you have those coupon codes).

So, I highly recommend that you pick 1and1.com as you domain registrar. I use them, you should too. I only recommend stuff that I actually use or a member of.

Welcome to my Niche Profit Classroom review. This time, its NPC 4.0. Yes, Adam Short  and the rest of the guys behind NPC has just released the Phase One of the best  membership site about internet marketing, which is of course Niche Profit Classroom.

So, this is my quick review of the course and I hope that after doing this short video or blog post, that you can decide for yourself if this training or course if for you.

But let me tell you now that if you are a total newbie about internet marketing or affiliate marketing or even Adsense for that matter, I can confidently say that NPC 4.0 is the perfect starting point to get your feet wet in making money online.

What is New with NPC 4.0? My Niche Profit Classroom Review

Before we get into the new features of NPC, let me just give you a brief background of  what is Niche Profit Classroom and how they started their course and membership site. But don’t worry I wont begin on how Adam Short started his internet marketing journey. He can tell you that himself.

If my memory servers me right, I first met or heard about Adam Short during a recording webminar of him and John Jonas (Who is John Jonas, that’s another story) but anyway, that’s the first time I heard about it. Adam short was basically promoting NPC. And back then, I think that it’s NPC2.0.

The thing is, I want to compare that version 2.0 with 3.0 and of course with the latest revision of the course (or addition to the course) with version 4.0

Back then (NPC 2.0), Adam was teaching how to find niche markets and finding money words and then creating products to cater that market. What Niche Profit Classroom basically teaches was how to create your own product on those specific niches and sell those in Clickbank (these are ebooks btw). Yeah, like mentioned, Adam teaches niche market research, keyword research and how to setup and build your sales page using his step by step formula.

Basically, the whole process seems easy enough to implement but during those times, I was not really into making my own ebook and selling them. I believe during those times, I was more interested with Adsense and have been earning a couple of dollars a day in adsense. So, what happened was, I just took the tips that Adam gave and shared but I did not join the Program.

Then a couple of monts or a year later, Niche Profit Classroom 3.0 came out. During that time, I think I already am familiar with affiliate marketing and clickbank and Mark Ling and all soft of affiliate mumbo jumbo.. So I think it was one of Mark Ling’s Webminar where I saw NPC3.0 went live.

This time I tried out NPC. There’s this $1 for 14 days trial then (and I think up to know there is still that trial). Yeah, anyway, I went ahead and join NPC and started watching the videos from the “Classroom”.

The difference between NPC2.0 and NPC3.0 is that aside from teaching you how to research and create your salespage and product, there is now a new “course” or section wherein Adam Short teaches his members how to create affiliate websites.

What he teaches basically is to be an affiliate with a certain product first and when the time comes that you already have several of these websites earning money, you can then outsource the product creation and replace the product you are promoting with your own product.

Basically, the idea is the same thing, that is to sell an info product but you will be first testing the waters before you go ahead and create your own prodcut by affialiting to an exisiting one.

NP3.0 also gives you 3 ready made business. Meaning you will be given 3 niche products that you can customize and sell as your own. It’s really up to you.

NPC3.0 has this superb keyword tool that will enable you find “Money words” very easily. You know what, honestly, keyword research was one of the frustrating part for me in learning internet marketing and Adam Short was the only one who explained that topic that I understood.

I tell you, the Keyword Advantage Tool alone is worth it for the cost of the membership.

How did I do with NPC 3.0 you might ask? Well, I only managed to create 1 website from it. It is currently ranking and you know what, this is all because of the teachings that is inside Niche Profit Classroom. NPC taught me how to find money words, create content and promotion (off page SEO). The 21 Day Traffic Blueprint worked like a charm. I followed it to the T.. of course after the 21 days I continue backlinking here and there but the point it, it flat out workds.

What’s that site? Well, go search for Bichon Frise Puppies or Bichon Frise Dogs and hopefully, my NPC website is still there when you search for it.

So, I believe in the course, I know it works and I know that anyone who will follow the teachings inside the course, he will see outcomes and makes money eventually.

Now for the new, fresh features of Niche Profit Classroom.. NPC 4.0.

This is it.. I’m going on the next level of off page SEO automation.. I am SENuking! (well, technically it’s not me, but my links – big part of it – will now be coming from web2.0s, profile links, articles, social networks etc .. will be coming from SENuke)
